Dr Michael Honnery

MBBS FRANZCP

Director

I am a consultant psychiatrist and psychotherapist.  I established the Wycombe Clinic in 1994 and have been in full-time psychotherapy practice ever since.  My approach is analytically orientated, with an emphasis on attachment, particularly in relation to early trauma.  In addition to my private practice, I have been Chair of the Binational Section of Psychotherapy of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry and lecturer for the RANZCP advanced training in the psychotherapies. I have particular interest in psychotherapy with young adults.

Dr Louise Gyler

PhD | Child and Adult Psychoanalyst

Dr Gyler is a Training Analyst of the Australian Psychoanalytical Society where she chairs the Committee on Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis. She is a member of the International Psychoanalytical Association. Her Ph.D. is in Gender Studies from the University of Sydney. She is the author of The Gendered Unconscious: Can Gender Discourses Subvert Psychoanalysis?  (Routledge, 2010).

Dr Sasha (Alexandra) Campbell

MBBS (Hons) FRANZCP. Cert. Psychotherapies

I am a Psychiatrist Psychotherapist and have been practising at the Wycombe Clinic since 2009.

I offer long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy and clinical supervision.

I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health and complex trauma.

My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, and grounded in the development of a working therapeutic relationship.

I am a seminar leader and supervisor for the RANZCP Advanced Training in the Psychotherapies, a member and past secretary of the NSW Subcommittee for the RANZCP Faculty of Psychotherapy and a member and past chair of the NSW Section of Perinatal and Infant Psychiatry.

Dr Sandy Kuiper

BSc(Med) Hons, MBBS, FRANZCP

I am a psychiatrist and long-term psychotherapist.

I work psychodynamically, trying to understand and feel out early trauma and work out how to have a decent life now despite a bad start. I try to be normal (as much as a psychiatrist can be). I believe that therapy is a relationship where people need to be comfortable, as well as a serious treatment that requires training, thoughtfulness, and an ability to understand deeply entrenched problems.

I have a dog who sometimes joins me for therapy and a couple of plants that I mostly keep alive. I teach psychotherapy to junior psychiatrists for the RANZCP, write academic papers on the intersection of depression and trauma, and advocate at a national level for better psychiatric treatment.

Dr Nathan Jacobs

BA (Hons I), MBBS, FRANZCP

I am a general psychiatrist and psychotherapist. I work with adolescents and adults of all ages. I offer psychiatric assessments, medication reviews, short- and long-term psychotherapy. I trained as a psychiatrist in Sydney and joined the Wycombe Clinic in 2023. My approach is collaborative and relational. We will work together to understand your concerns, consider different diagnostic possibilities, and find the treatments and approaches that work best for you.

BTeach (Secondary School), BSc (Hons)

I’m a Clinical Psychotherapist and Counsellor, registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), specialising in supporting families, teenagers, young adults, parents, couples, and women in midlife.

With extensive experience in high schools and universities as a wellbeing leader, teacher, and counsellor, I understand the pressures young people and their families face — including anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, study stress, identity, and social or family relationship challenges.

I also work with women navigating midlife changes, offering a supportive space to explore identity, confidence, and wellbeing through evidence-based strategies.

My approach is trauma-informed and evidence-based, integrating modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Sessions are warm and collaborative — and include Yogi, my gentle therapy dog, who helps create a sense of comfort in the therapy space.
